AnyPlace Control is a remote-access tool. This application allows you to use, administer and control a computer even if it is located on the other side of the globe. Thus, except for the usual delay due to the remote connection, you can hardly notice the difference between accessing a remote computer or another machine that is physically right in front of you.
The application’s intuitive graphic user interface makes it very easy to use as it resembles that of Windows Explorer. So, starting a connection is as simple as selecting the remote computer from the list. There are two types of connection available. First, you can create an online account and access a remote computer via the developer’s servers. Second, you can also connect to other computers on your local area network. In both cases, the program allows you to connect across firewalls. In addition, your data will be transferred safely as the connection established is secure and encrypted.
In general, AnyPlace Control is a relatively simple-to-use application. Unfortunately, for a connection to be established, the modules must be installed on both the local and the remote computers. However, it is good that it supports installing the host module remotely.
